RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases and services provided by Harms and Humans Inc. (“Harms and Humans,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through the website www.harmsandhumans.com, unless otherwise specified in an individual agreement or affiliate transaction.
1. SHOP PURCHASES
We offer a 30-day return policy for eligible items purchased directly from our website. You may request a return within 30 calendar days from the date the item is delivered.
This return policy does not apply to purchases made via third-party or affiliate platforms, in which case the return policy of the affiliated seller governs.
2. BOOK RETURNS
Books are eligible for return provided that:
- The item is in its original condition (unread and unused);
- All original tags and packaging are included;
- A receipt or proof of purchase is provided.
Customers are advised to inspect all book orders upon delivery. In the event a book arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us promptly at support@harmsandhumans.com to request a resolution.
3. SERVICE AND INSPECTION REFUNDS
3.1 Home Inspection Services
Refunds for in-person home inspections are available only if the Customer cancels no later than 24 hours before the scheduled inspection.
3.2 Mail-In Inspection Services
Refunds are not available once the sample or package has been shipped to Harms and Humans. By mailing your item, you confirm your acceptance of this condition.
4. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN
To initiate a return, the Customer must send a written request to support@harmsandhumans.com, including the order number, description of the item or service, and the reason for return.
Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY FOR RETURN SHIPPING
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is defective, damaged, or sent in error. Harms and Humans does not assume liability for items lost or damaged in transit during the return process. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining proof of return shipment.
6. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Gift cards;
- Services that have already been rendered;
- Items returned without prior approval.
7. REFUND PROCESS
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, Harms and Humans will notify the Customer of the approval or rejection of the refund.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that banks and credit card companies may require additional time to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since refund approval and the funds have not been received, please contact us.
